The Mingyue Lake is treated as the "eye" of the western district of Yangzhou city and also serves as the "living room" of the city. To further beautify the nighttime landscape of Mingyue Lake and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the city, this year our municipal government has decided to carry out a facade lighting renovation project around Mingyue Lake. The main goal of this project is to comprehensively enhance the lighting of all structures and buildings within the view from the lakeside of Mingyue Lake. With such lighting renovations, not only can improve the attractiveness of the city's night scene, but also provide citizens and visitors with a more beautiful and comfortable environment for nighttime leisure.
The Canal Grand Theatre of Yangzhou China which has won the 14th China "Steel Structure Gold Award" and the 17th China, as a landmark building is located on the north bank of Mingyue Lake. the whole structure is designed by the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tongji University, the exterior design of the theater seamlessly integrates the natural surroundings of Mingyue Lake and the cultural landscape, creating a artistic conception of "Moon, Round Yangzhou, the Gate of Culture". With a total construction area of 144,700 square meters, the theater is divided into two buildings, east and west.
Given its unique position beside the lake, the government pays great attention to its facade lighting performance, Dison group had undertaken the great pressure to carry out the design, production and installation work for the whole structure,through our joint effect, fortunately, the end result is good, our citizens are quite enjoying this new landscape at night when they walk around the lake.
